Profile Yourself

After you have registered for MarketMix, it is time to profile yourself in the Chance2Meet
1-on-1 networking tool. Your profile will tell other participants who YOU are and what you are looking to achieve during the conference networking. For some tips on how to write your profile, check out this blog post: http://www.marketmix2011.com/structured-networking-at-marketmix.

Search and book meetings

Search the database for participants you are interested in connecting with. The system will also suggest attendees with profiles that match yours.

When you find someone you would like to meet, request a meeting! If the person has available timeslots and if there is mutual interest, he or she will accept the meeting. If the person is already fully booked or if there isn't a match in objectives, the person may decline the meeting. If the person declines, keep looking for attendees to meet.

The system is set up to allow each attendee up to 6 twenty minute meeting during a two hour segment of the day.

Meet People

Before you leave for the conference, login to Chance2Meet and print out your meeting schedule. Arrive at the conference prepared for some fun and effective networking!

We will have staff onsite to help you with your networking! That said, the more you prepare before you arrive, the more value you will gain from the meetings.
